April Book of the Month // The Kinfolk Home

The beautiful Spring weather and clear skies have brought a breath of fresh air into our studios this April. Despite our weekly dashes to the Alps for site meetings still, the snow is slowly fading and spring flowers are popping up across the valleys. The seasonal changes always remind us all the hard work from the previous season, and our completed projects that have just had their first winter with their owners.

Our book of the month derives from a website offering constant inspiration for us, especially at the beginning of a new season. The beautiful photography and articles sharing the most interesting homes and spaces around the world fill us with inspiration for the coming months.

‘The Kinfolk Home’ features 35 stylish homes which all reflect the magazine’s slow-living mentality and unique aesthetic. Accompanying each feature are interviews and essays from the owners, sharing cosy spaces and much loved items presented in their homes.

The author of the book and Editor in Chief to the magazine Kinfolk, Nathan Williams invites each resident to share how their ideals have shaped their homes and how their homes have in turn shaped them.
